چکیده

0 NE of the major topics placed on the agenda of the Thirtyfourth Session of the International Labor Conference held in Geneva from June 6 to 30, 1951, was “Objectives and Minimum Standards of Social Security.” This action represented another step forward in the development of a new international Convention on social security. The procedure leading up to the official adoption of an International Labor Organization Convention is very thorough and accordingly very lengthy. This article will review the action taken and give a description of the contents of the tentative Convention.
